Children's play area temporary closure

Our children's play area will be closed Monday 15 to Thursday 18 April, due to the first phase of the resurfacing and drainage works taking place in the car park. The country park and Anglo-Saxon Village will remain open throughout. Thank you for your patience while these works are carried out.

Come to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and discover the story of Beowulf and Grendel.

Meet a costumed interpreter for ‘Tales in the Hall’ and hear how legendary hero Beowulf slew Grendel.

Follow the popular Beowulf and Grendel trail around the Country Park, copy the runes and get a free badge when you complete the trail. (one pack free with each family admission to the Anglo-Saxon Village – extra packs £2)

Times: 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm)
Tickets: Standard admission - Adult £6, Concessions (disabled, over 60s, Job Seekers, Income Support, students) £4, Children (5-16 years) £3, Family (up to 5 family members, including at least one adult and one paying child) £16
Booking: Not required
