Love dance, music and being in the wild?
Enjoy an evening at West Stow by a campfire with an opportunity to explore dance-meditation and movement medicine.
If you’ve got a pulse you can dance! There is absolutely no ‘level of skill’ required for this event... just a desire for freedom of movement exploration.
Expect all sorts of music! The music sets are always an eclectic mix of music from different genres and cultures, often with a tribal edge and an earthy or ethereal vibe. There will be fun, guided warmups as a group before entering the main dance journey section (the dance is non-contact).
This dance process is unique in that the dancers are encourage to wear blindfolds to quicken and deepen their inner, meditative journey but this is not compulsory. The dance is an intuitive process and people can dance as much or as little as they wish.
This event will be celebrating the 4 Celtic elements and our relationship to them: air, fire, water and earth.
