Create your own sacred drum at West Stow Country Park, as part of this exclusive one-day drum birthing workshop run by Bear Number 9.
Run by Claire and Benny from Bear number 9, this workshop offers you the opportunity to celebrate and honour the sacredness of all things as part of the process of birthing your drum.
The workshops are very simple, utilising the traditional methods of our ancestors with the help of some modern tools, and you will learn all about the processes of stretching and treating the hides, and creating frames for the drums along the way.
The drum you create is something that could last for generations.
All materials are provided.
Please bring something to wrap your drum in for the journey home.
