Join Centingas, living history group, to discover the battles of the Danes and Saxons and what happened to Edmund. Where did the wolf call out, why was Edmund shot with arrows in battle?
Saturday 26 – Sunday 27 May – Threads of Time
Explore the world of textiles, basketry and ropes; from the Stone Age to modern day. Experimental archaeology, living history, demonstrations and hands on activities……
Saturday 2 - Tuesday 5 June - A Thegnly Visit - 10am - 5pm (last entry 4pm) (West Stow)
A Thegnly group and their attendants stop off in the village while travelling to visit the King at Rendlesham
Sunday 3 June – The Big Jubilee Lunch - 12pm - 3pm (Moyse's Hall)
As part of this national Jubilee event - come and share lunch in the unique setting of Moyse's Hall in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Bring food to share together with stories and memories of 1950's. Tea and coffee available. (Friends event)
