Dragon Fest returns celebrating its 10th anniversary!

West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park is set to host the highly anticipated Dragon Fest, a family-friendly event celebrating its spectacular 10th anniversary this year. 

The festival will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June and will see the village transformed into a magical world of dragons, creatures and unique characters, promising an unforgettable day for visitors of all ages.

This year’s highlights will include the chance to meet Brym and Snarl Junior, the village’s resident dragons, and enjoy the hilarious antics of Bring Out Your Dead Productions. Visitors will also be immersed in the legendary tale of Beowulf, brought to life by Quill and Inkling, and can get up close with prehistoric giants from Rent a Dinosaur.

For those seeking adventure, there’s the opportunity to try circus skills, archery, and axe throwing. Visitors can also indulge in delicious food and drinks from a variety of stalls, relax with wellbeing sessions, and explore even more exciting attractions.

New for 2025, the festival will feature the awakening of a brand-new, awe-inspiring four-meter-long dragon and visitors will have the opportunity to participate in choosing its name!
