Due to the national lockdown, West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village, museum, visitor centre and shop are closed until further notice.

West Stow Country Park (including the adventure playground and toilets) remains open 9am to 4pm daily.

The café will be opening 10am to 3pm for takeaway refreshments only.

With extensive indoor galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village, West Stow is a fascinating and enjoyable day out for all the family, come rain or shine. (Assistance dogs only)

Opening times

Due to the national lockdown, West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village, museum, and shop are now closed until further notice.

Standard opening hours are daily 10am-5pm (last entry 3.30pm in Winter and 4pm in the Summer).

Please be aware that dogs on a lead are welcome in the country park but assistance dogs only are permitted in the Anglo-Saxon Village due to the presence of livestock.

Parking

Charges start from £1 for up to an hour or £2 for more than one hour. £1 per day for Blue Badge holders.

Annual permits are available for £15, which covers parking at Nowton Park too. You can apply for an annual permit on the West Suffolk Council website - Car park season tickets page.
