coronavirus logoThe Anglo-Saxon village, museum, visitor centre and shop have re-opened. Now open daily 10am-5pm (last entry 3.30pm in winter and 4pm in summer)

West Stow Country Park, the adventure playground, car park and toilets are open daily (9am to 8pm).

The cafe is open daily for takeaway refreshments plus a few indoor tables (10am-5pm).

With extensive indoor galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village, West Stow is a fascinating and enjoyable day out for all the family, come rain or shine. (Assistance dogs only)

Opening times

Standard opening hours are daily 10am-5pm (last entry 3.30pm in Winter and 4pm in the Summer). Please note that we are not operating a booking system for individual visitors, but groups need to book in advance.

Please be aware that dogs on a lead are welcome in the country park but assistance dogs only are permitted in the Anglo-Saxon Village due to the presence of livestock.

Parking

Charges start from £1 for up to an hour or £2 for more than one hour. £1 per day for Blue Badge holders.

Annual permits are available for £15, which covers parking at Nowton Park too. You can apply for an annual permit on the West Suffolk Council website - Car park season tickets page.
