Come to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and meet members of Ealdfaeder as they demonstrate the use of herbs, methods of cooking and bread baking.
Activities include a display and explanation of Saxon cooking pots, plates, bowls, drinking vessels and cooking methods (including heated stones) and creating linen from flax – retting, spindle spinning + silk tablet braid weaving & wool nalbinding textiles.
