Come and experience drum birthing living history demonstrations by Bear Number 9 at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village.Our ancestors drummed to celebrate and commemorate, in times of transition, sorrow or joy.
Join Bear number 9 as they demonstrate the processes of preparing and making sacred drums in the Saxon-Village throughout the week.
Daily (Monday 8 – Friday 12 August) - 12pm-2pm
See how to transform fresh deer hide into raw hide by soaking, scraping, stretching and drying.

Suitable for all ages and abilities. No experience needed.
