Take a short walk to explore and gather natural materials, then have a go at making a variety of wild crafts including; mini-boats, rafts, badges and willow.
At this event, you will join wild-crafter Jon Tyler to explore the scenic riverside of the River Lark, at West Stow Country Park. You will be guided to explore the plants found along the riverside, learn about their natural properties, and discover a variety of wild craft techniques to turn natural items into amazing creations.
Suitable for ages 5+
(Ages 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult)
- Meet at the visitor centre
- This workshop is outdoors, please wear appropriate clothing
- Please note there is a variety of terrain within the Country Park
- Parking fee: £3 for the day
- This workshop excludes admission to the Anglo-Saxon Village
- Please do not bring dogs
