Join us for a session of Yoga & Mindfulness to help reduce exam stress at West Stow Country Park.
This workshop is aimed at young people taking GCSE’s, A levels and college students.
It will share tools and techniques to reduce stress in the run up to the exams
The workshop will include:
- The science of the breath
- Breathing techniques – e.g., Box breathing, alternate nostril breathing
- A yoga sequence to create inner calm and peace
- Daily exam success visualisation
- Suitable for young people taking GCSE, A level or college exams
- Meet at the visitor centre
- Parking fees apply
- Café on site for parents
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- This session may have outdoor elements
This workshop is being delivered as part of ‘Healing Waters: Breathe in the Brecks’, part of the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme (BFER).
‘Healing Waters’ is a programme of projects providing opportunities for communities to reconnect to the landscape and heritage through a programme of healthy outdoor activities.
Being outdoors in the fresh air and near to nature is known to be incredibly beneficial for mental and physical well-being.
