Take a guided walk of West Stow Country Park to discover some of its fascinating hidden history.


Scattered throughout West Stow Country Park’s beautiful landscape are some fascinating tales about its hidden history.

It is home to one of the only curved river locks in the Country and used to be home to the local authority’s tip site! Join this guided walk to find out more about the site’s lesser-known heritage.

  • Ages 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult
  • Meet at the visitor centre
  • Parking fees apply (£3 all day)
  • Dogs must be kept on leads
  • Excludes admission to the Anglo-Saxon Village
  • Please be aware there is uneven terrain in the park
  • This is an outdoor event, please dress accordingly
  • Free admission
