Calling all young wizards and witches between the ages of 7 and 11 - join us on an extraordinary adventure into the world of the Enchanted Forest at West Stow Country Park. Get ready for a day filled with fun, excitement, and yoga exploration!Activities planned for the day:
• Yoga sessions: Children will participate in an interactive wizard-inspired yoga journey, meeting magical creatures and saluting the sun, moon and stars for protection.
• Mindfulness exercises: An exploration of techniques to enhance focus, relaxation, and self-awareness.
• Fun games & Magical Quiz & Riddles in the Forest: Get ready for exciting magical games, quizzes and activities that promote teamwork, laughter, and fun!
• Enchanting Craft Activities: Children will have the opportunity to express their creativity making protective amulets or painting mandalas.
• Mindfulness Walk: Join us in the forest to collect samples for your school potions exam.
What to Bring:
To make the most of their adventure, children should come prepared with the following:
• Comfortable clothing suitable for physical movement
• Sunscreen (already applied)
• Sunhat
• Sunglasses (optional)
• Packed lunch (nut-free) and a labelled water bottle
• A break time snack
• (optional) a yoga mat
This camp day is made possible by the generous funding from BFER. The event organisers will ensure a safe environment throughout the day, with professionally qualified staff present. All activities will be age-appropriate and designed to provide a memorable and enjoyable adventure.
