Bird Ringing at West Stow

Join us in West Stow Country Park for a session of bird ringing as we look to understand more about the ages, habits and number of different birds that visit the Country Park each year.

Get up close and see the beautiful markings and help determine the ages of the birds we catch, and ring them so we can continue to track them in the future. No harm comes to the birds themselves, and you will learn a great deal about the reasons why we ring birds, and the huge benefit it has to monitoring bird populations.

Suitable for all ages, no experience needed.
